Beagle themed stepping stool for restroom

One of my orders from last month I forgot to post. So here it is.
My client was redecorating her sons bathroom and it was in the theme of their family dog.  Which just so happened to be a coincidence that it was a beagle, which is the same breed that we have.
So to my benefit-- I know very well what these furry friends look like.
It was kind of tricky to take a good photo of all sides of the step stool  Still trying to perfect my photography skills. The top picture here is the very top of the stepping stool and the picture below is a side view.
My client wanted bright lime green and sunshine yellow.
These bright and happy shades couldn't be more appropriate for this type of energetic dog!

Below here is a cute picture of my 5 yr old little buddy.
His name is Winston. We call him,Winnie for short around here!

Reflecting on first year...

Its crazy for me to think that I started my painting journey about one year ago.  It has been a GREAT year! I don't think there has ever been a down time with my clients and projects. Busy-busy!
The work keeps coming and it has opened so many doors for me.  I LOVE that I get to do my work from home and to be a stay at home mom at the same time.  Ashley Bridger Designs started off with simply customized canvas paintings, toy boxes, step stools.

I love a good challenge though, so whatever my clients ask me to do I always find a way to make it work.  When I got started with this I thought I was just going to do simple painting for over top of a baby's crib or cute paintings for toy rooms.  But with keeping a open mind Ashley Bridger Designs has grown into so much more.
Lately,  I have been having so many different requests from customers for different things they would like to have created for their home.
For example:  I have been doing portraits of newborn babies, large landscape paintings of a cottage for a clients living room, baby ultrasound paintings, paintings for a bride & groom for their new home, gifts for teachers, painting logo's for a new day spa, different hand painted decor and furniture for toy rooms and so much more.  Pretty crazy how it has grown eh?!

And did I mention I got to go to Hollywood to showcase my artwork to celebrities like Jillian Michael's from biggest loser, Nancy O'dell and many others celebs?  Read about it here . So much has come about for me in only one year and I cant wait to see how it is going to grow through the years.

So many people have a "idea" of how they want to decorate their home, but they don't know how to go about creating it.  Well that is where I come in! I am now offering more services to accommodate my clients.

Basically, If you have a room in your home and you need some help with ideas and decorating I can do that for you.  If you live nearby I will come right to your home and consult with you and together I can help you transform your space.  If it is something as simple as a painting we can do most of the consulting over email through pictures.

You can supply me with samples of inspiring fabric, paint chips that you want me to work with.

Need a dresser, desk or lamp refinished?  want to turn your daughters closet into a dress up space? decorate your Home Day Care walls with colourful and welcoming decor?  Built in cabinets? Want to create a soothing and relaxing living area for your family room? Or simply a custom canvas painting?

There is NO LIMITS to what we can do.
If it involves a paintbrush, some canvas or wood we are in!
My husband is a talented carpenter and I am a artist and designer that will promise you 100% quality work and we can make your home feel like home!

If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask.
We are up for any home renovation, artwork, and home decoration you can think of

Elephants and Ballerina Bunny

Its always fun to make some artwork for friends. This is a painting 16 x 20 in size on MDF material.  My friends daughter has the same name as my daughter and she wanted to personalize her daughters name on a pearl soft pink necklace on the bunny painting.  I think she turned out adorable. If you like this painting but would like to use a different colour pallette or size I can do that for you.

Colours use here are: soft pink, vanilla cream, light and dark grey tones and a touch of gold sparkle to accent the ballet skirt.

Another one of my popular elephants were in order for her sons bedroom. She also ordered a pink version too for her daughter. I will post pictures when it is complete. This is the largest elephant that I have done to date. Its a 16 x 20 in size

Colours used are:  Vanilla cream, dark and light greys and soft robins egg blue.

11 X 14 Canvas Painting

Stepping Stool For Emma

( unfortunately it is a very rainy day here when I took this photo with my camera., The colour is much brighter and clear than how the pictures turned out)
One of my favourite things about my job is by far knowing that I was able to add that finishing piece to my clients rooms in their homes.  Here we have a step stool for one of my clients.  She had ordered a one step- step stool for her daughter Emma's nursery. She requested it to be painted in simple modern grey, soft pink and  bright white.
Below is a adorable photo of sweet Emma.

I had to share another gorgeous photo of Emma's nursery designed by her mom.
I had a great foundation to work from when I was planning my design to be painted. So happy she loved the final product!

In The News

I just wanted to share a article in our Local news today. Its always nice to have support from our local city:

Designer’s work a big winner in Beverly Hills
MARKETING: ASHLEY BRIDGER TAKES HER WARES TO CELEBRITIES
Entertainment Tonight’s Nancy O’Dell took one home for her daughter.
Jillian Michaels of The Biggest Loser loved them, too.
And broadcaster Kevin Frazier, host of The Insider, ordered some custom artwork for his family.
A London woman’s custom nursery decor is the latest celebrity must-have, after she took part in an exclusive and lavish pre-Golden Globe party in Beverly Hills.
“We met a lot of celebrities,” said Ashley Bridger, owner of Ashley Bridger Designs.
“It was really neat to be able to show them my product.”
Jayneoni Moore, a TV personality and fashion guru who co-ordinates the event, invited Bridger after stumbling across her blog, featuring her custom artwork and nursery decor.
Bridger, her sister and mother headed to Beverly Hills, Calif., to take part in the Boom Boom Room, a pre-Golden Globes celebrity event held Jan. 13 and 14.
O’Dell, an Entertainment Tonight co-host, liked one of Bridger’s paintings so much, she took it home.
“She took it home for her daughter,” said Bridger, adding the painting was of a young girl’s dress decked out with pink buttons for a 3D effect.
Michaels, of The Biggest Loser weight-loss reality show, was also taken with one of Bridger’s paintings of a mother and baby giraffe.
“She got really excited and called her friend over to see everything,” she said.
A year ago, Bridger and her husband, Trent, were trying to decorate bedrooms for their two young daughters, but couldn’t find what they wanted.
That’s when Trent, a carpenter, decided to build it instead — custom toy boxes and wooden art— and Bridger, an artist, painted it to match the colours and decor they wanted.
Visiting relatives loved the work and the two decided to turn it into a business, Ashley Bridger Designs.
Bridger got back from the celebrity event last Sunday.
While at first she thought she’d be star-struck, Bridger said she got used to seeing celebrities walking around.
“I’m just grateful that I was able to have that experience,” she said.
